Autumn season of Philosophy at the Showroom announced

Philosophy at the Showroom is a series of sessions probing the philosophical questions raised by some of cinema’s most intriguing films, and discussing books that have philosophical themes (either philosophical texts, or other works that raise philosophical questions).

Autumn 2016 programme and themes

The Autumn season will see screenings of Agora, Badlands and The Look of Silence play at the Showroom Cinema.

Topics of discussion will include the decline of civilisations, love and morality and truth and reality.
