Research interests

Charlie is working on meaning in life as a source of reasons to be moral, particularly towards groups that are psychologically and practically distant from us, such as the global poor, farmed animals, and future people.

Charlie also has an interest in moral psychology and the degree to which people are self-interested, and the normativity of self-interest
