How has your philosophy degree helped your career?
My degree has been key to leading me to where I am now. I could not teach A-Level Philosophy without my degree level knowledge of the subject. I get to carry on doing the subject that I love every day, and inspire students to carry on in the direction of philosophy too!
What advice do you have for current philosophy students?
Philosophy is a fantastic skill. Don’t undervalue what you know and understand. There may not be industries which specialise in philosophy, but the analysis of ideas and enthusiasm for detail that philosophy teaches are useful for every area of life.
