Research involving animals

As part of our efforts to remain at the forefront of medical and scientific advances, we conduct limited research using animals. This research contributes to groundbreaking developments in understanding and treating diseases such as cancer, deafness, heart disease and Parkinson's.

We only use animals where no other alternatives are available. Wherever possible we use species of the lowest neurophysiological sensitivity such as fruit flies, zebrafish and mice.
