Profile

I joined the University of Sheffield in September 2014 to support a rapid evidence synthesis programme commissioned by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Health and Social Care Delivery Research (HS&DR) Programme. In addition to this programme, I have led or contributed to numerous evidence synthesis and health technology assessment projects. I am an active member of the ScHARR ethics committee.

Research interests

My research interests are concerned with supporting the use of systematic reviews in evidence-informed decision-making, particularly around urgent and emergency care and social care.  This includes methods for rapid reviews, overviews of systematic reviews and engagement with decision-makers, clinicians, patients and the public.
