I joined the University of Sheffield in June 2016 having previously worked as a Trial Manager at the MRC Clinical Trials Unit at UCL where I was involved in the management of a number of large phase III IMP trials.
Within CTRU, I work as a Trial Manager on the OPTION-DM and StarMS Trials. OPTION-DM is a phase III trial looking at different treatment pathways for painful diabetic neuropathy. OPTION-DM is closed to recruitment and results are expected by January 2021. StarMS is a phase III trial looking at autologous stem cell transplantation for relapsing remitting MS. StarMS is currently in set up with recruitment due to commence in early 2021
