I am a PhD student at ScHARR, supervised by Professor Aki Tsuchiya and Professor John Holmes. My work is primarily focused on inequalities in health, and, in particular, the way in which inequalities are captured within economic evaluation in health.

I am a member of the ScHARR Wellcome Trust Doctoral Training Centre in Public Health, Economics and Decision Analysis. Prior to joining Sheffield, I spent six years working as a Health Economist within the pharmaceutical industry.

I hold an MSc in Behavioural Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science, an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York, and a BSc in Economics from the University of York.

Research interests

My primary research interests are:

  • Valuing health, wellbeing and the benefits of public policy more generally.
  • Distributionally-sensitive economic evaluation.
  • Normative health economics.
Teaching interests

I am a tutor on the MPH module “Economic Evaluation and Health Care Financing”.
