Profile

I came to work at the University of Sheffield in January 2009 as a temp in the Mental Health Group to work on the IAPT project (An evaluation of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies programme). Since then I have provided administrative support to previous projects including IQuESTS: which aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of psychological therapies for people with longer term depression; AdEPT: which aims to understand and prevent adverse effects in psychological therapies and recently the DEUCE study (Drivers of Demand for Emergency and Urgent CarE) understanding patients' and public perspectives. I became University staff in June 2011.

Current projects

I am currently involved in providing administrative support to the RoMHS study: Researching the Retention of mental health staff (RoMHS) in the NHS and the PRaCTICED trial (Pragmatic, Randomised Controlled Trial assessing the non-Inferiority of Counselling and its Effectiveness for Depression) is to determine the clinical and cost-effectiveness of CfD compared with CBT as delivered in primary care for clients with moderate or severe depression.
