Ilyana is a current Japanese and History Studies student who is working toward teaching history to secondary school age students or to become a history lecturer surrounding the chosen speciality of modern warfare.
Caroline is a final year Korean Studies with Japanese student here in the School of East Asian Studies. Caroline fell in love with Sheffield at one of our Open Days and has felt supported and encouraged to her full potential from the day she started.
Lola particularly enjoys the variety of subjects she is able to study throughout her BA Chinese Studies and is looking forward to spending a year abroad immersed in Chinese language and culture.
Chinese Studies student Larisa is originally from Croatia but chose to come and study at Sheffield for her degree because of the School of East Asian Studies reputation and the fact that Sheffield is known to be a safe city.
