Profile

I began working as an Associate Teacher in Public Health in 2020. I am responsible for leading the Health Promotion module and deputy lead for Key issues in Global Public Health and Health Needs Assessment, Planning, and Evaluation. I am also a Research Associate with the Health and Care Research Unit.

Previously, I worked as an Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University teaching Public Health since 2013.

I am a registered nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition and have worked for the NHS specialising in obesity reduction and weight management and for charity (not-for-profit) organisations in deprived areas of Sheffield.

I completed my PhD at the Medical School in the Department of Oncology and Metabolism, which focused on vitamin D supplementation and irritable bowel syndrome.
