I completed my undergraduate medical training at King’s College London in 2012, after which I moved to Sheffield for foundation training, and subsequently completed an Academic Clinical Fellowship alongside core medical training in South Yorkshire. I moved to Manchester to undertake a Wellcome Trust PhD Fellowship in Immunology in the lab of Dr Matthew Hepworth (University of Manchester) and then returned to Sheffield to complete my specialist training in Gastroenterology. In 2021 I was awarded an NIHR Academic Clinical Lectureship at the University of Sheffield to undertake research alongside my clinical training. My research focuses on clinical and translational aspects of small bowel diseases such as coeliac disease and other chronic enteropathies.
