Sarah Hunter - Employability Manager

Bio: I'm proud to manage the Faculty Employability Team due to our shared passion of providing exciting employability opportunities for students. I love linking our students with external companies and enjoy coming up with new ideas for the team to try.

Sarah Bows Employability Hub Manager

Bio: I work closely with colleagues in the Information School, Economics, Journalism and the Sheffield Methods Institute, as well as other Professional Services teams, to review and develop opportunities for students to enhance their employability within and alongside the curriculum. My favourite part of the job is seeing how this can differ across programs and departments, and being involved in initiating and developing new ideas for student employability support.

Louise Hall - Employability Hub Manager 

Bio: I work with Geography, Urban Studies & Planning, Landscape and Architecture to bring employability into their curricula. My favourite part of my job is teaching and seeing students start to develop their confidence.

Caroline Muddimer - Employability Hub Manager 

Bio: I work with the School of Law, School of Education, Department of Politics and International Relations, Department of Sociological Studies and Management School to support them to embed employability in the curriculum. I'm passionate about involving students in decision-making and making sure we have an inclusive offer for all of our students.

Sadie Brunton - Employability Project Officer

Bio: I design and deliver employability and skills sessions for students taking part in the Susan Crosbie Leaders in Law Programme. The programme is part of an Alumni gift and supports widening participation students who are typically under-represented in traditional Law careers. I work alongside the Faculty of Social Sciences Employability Team to deliver employability events and work based learning opportunities.

Tracy Horton - Project and Skills Development Officer

Bio: I'm a Geography/Sociology graduate with experience in Careers guidance and delivering employer events. I'm looking forward to meeting students from across the Faculty through events and projects ranging from speed networking sessions to longer work placements. Isabel Eustace - Employability Project Assistant

Bio: I am currently on a year in industry placement and have recently completed my second year of my Geography degree. I support the delivery of various employability events throughout the year so I look forward to seeing some of you there!

Our Cornerstone Assistants

We have a group of committed students who work in Cornerstone, our peer to peer Employability Service. Since launching the Hub in 2023 their input from a student perspective has been invaluable.
