As University Secretary, Jeannette works to ensure the highest standards of governance in liaison with the Chair of Council, President and Vice-Chancellor, University Executive Board members and Professional Services Directors.
Jeannette has over 30 years’ experience of working in Higher Education and she has held a number of senior roles in UK universities. She was the Registrar and Secretary at the University of Hull and prior to that position, the Academic Registrar and Director of Student and Academic Services at Newcastle University. She has also worked in senior positions at St George’s, University of London, UCL and City, University of London. More recently, as a Principal Consultant for SUMS, a specialist Higher Education consultancy company, Jeannette has undertaken assignments in the UK and Europe.
Prior to working in Higher Education Jeannette served as an officer in the Royal Air Force.
Jeannette has a BSc in Economics from the University of Hull, a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from the University of London and a Master’s in Business Administration from City, University of London.
