Amy Woolley - Placements, Employability and External Relationships Manager

Amy Woolley leads on the module Professional Skills Development, ensuring that students are gaining the appropriate skills and knowledge to obtain graduate employment and succeed in their careers.

Amy is the main point of contact for employers and alumni, in order to support curriculum delivery and to share career insights with students. Amy also ensures that students and the department are kept up to date with the latest industry developments.

As well as coordinating the employer liaison board, Amy organises the placement provision for the department and works with our external partners to ensure that students have access to placements throughout the sector.


Dr Berna Keskin - Lecturer and Employability Academic Lead

Dr Berna Keskin plays a leading role in designing and integrating professional skills development into undergraduate and postgraduate curricula.


Emma Parry - Careers & Employability Consultant

Our Careers Consultant from the University’s Careers Service, Emma Parry works directly with the Department of Urban Studies and Planning.

Working in the Careers Service means she is able to call on expertise of the Service, with its links to a wide range of graduate employers and knowledge of the graduate jobs market, as well as its central role in developing employability across the University.
