Vice-Chancellor, Professor Koen Lamberts, shares a message of thanks
"Thank you to everyone who took part in The Big Week last week. Our original target was to raise £50,000 for Parkinson’s disease research. I’m delighted to say that thanks to your efforts, and the generosity of people from all over the world, we have now surpassed this target, raising over £56,000.
"During the week, we received more than 1,300 donations and over 100 people took part in a fundraising challenge. The money you have helped raise will support the pioneering work by our researchers to transform the way we treat people with Parkinson’s – a disease that affects over 10 million people.
"I know it means the world to our Parkinson’s researchers to have the support of the University community behind them."
