Living HighwaysThe Living Highways Project: Managing road verges for multiple benefits

Researchers from APS and Landscape are collaborating with Amey and the Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust, to explore how changes in road verge management can enhance biodiversity and ecosystem services whilst reducing maintenance costs.


URSULA developed knowledge and tools to guide the regeneration of urban river corridors, collaborating with local authorities, government agencies and NGOs.

BUGSBUGS: Biodiversity in Urban Gardens in Sheffield

The BUGS project looked at biodiversity in urban gardens in Sheffield, with involvement from organisations such as Sheffield City Museums and Galleries Trusts and Sheffield City Council.
