William Harvey Young Investigatory Award

Huge congratulations to Hannah Isles (Elks/Renshaw lab) who was awarded the William Harvey Young Investigator Award at the World Congress on Inflammation held in London in July.

The biennial Congress is the pinnacle for the growing number of Societies within the International Association of Inflammation Societies (IAIS), and others who attend the Congress, and represents a key opportunity to share knowledge across borders and professional disciplines working towards a common goal of improving the understanding and control of inflammatory diseases.

The Congress Scientific programme presented the best in inflammation science from distinguished researchers from across the globe.

Covering key topics from across the spectrum of inflammatory mechanisms and therapeutic areas with a specific focus on inflammation in ageing and cancer.

Hannah gave a talk at the Congress: “Elucidating the mechanisms governing neutrophil reverse migration”.
