NW Atlantic iceberg season forecast

Icebergs have long been a risk to shipping in the north-west Atlantic. A team led by Prof. Grant Bigg has developed a suite of control systems and AI models to forecast the number of icebergs passing 48°N, and the rate of change in this number across the peak ice season.

The combined 2022 iceberg forecast is for a medium iceberg year.
