Adamu’s Masters has allowed him to work at the intersection of international development and public health.

I’m a Nigerian. I studied a Masters in Public Health in International Development at the University of Sheffield and graduated in 2010.

I chose to study that Masters programme because it brought together public health and international development, looking at the contemporary ideas in international development and that provided me with a great learning experience and really boosted my career.

I currently work in the public health space as well as the international development space. We work closely with government and stakeholders - WHO, UNICEF, US Centre for Disease Control - to support governments to implement life-changing projects. The Masters provided me with that entry point to go and work and learn and also impact on lives. Our internships and placements provided me with that great experience.
