Department hosts summer lecture series on International Development

Our staff have put together the series, which features work from our own postgraduates.

International Development Lecture Series Collage

Over the summer, we are putting on a lecture & seminar series for our students, where they will get to learn about the ground-breaking research conducted by our community of postgraduate researchers.

This is an opportunity for students to engage with innovative and cutting-edge research in International Development, as well as to network and spend some face-to-face time with peers. Each session is 2 hours long and requires no previous preparation. Students can simply show up and engage in the discussions.

In these sessions, students will learn about a range of topics related to International Development, from the ethics and practicalities of conducting fieldwork in diverse environments, to practical tutorials on how to use GIS software.
