My initial impression on Sheffield was on the diverse nature of students learning here. There are students from almost every part of the world and that got me excited about the opportunities I have with learning about different cultures and perspectives. The university and its infrastructure were very impressive, and the Students Union and its various societies was something that I have never experienced before.

The best thing about living in a city far away from home is the opportunity to learn and develop myself on a personal level and at the same time trying to learn the new culture and adapting to the lifestyles here. The people in Sheffield are very warm and friendly to approach that makes the whole experience an easier one. With the facilities on offer here, it was indeed a wise choice for me to study at this university.

The key highlights of my course so far is the level of depth in which most modules are taught ensuring that the students are able to apply what they learn in a real life situation. The multicultural classrooms and the facilities at the Diamond is something that makes my course more interesting.

What I most I enjoy about studying my course at Sheffield is the quality of facilities and the standard of education. Moreover, being in a lecture theatre filled with students sharing a similar passion as me is a really good motivation for me to keep trying my best to gain more knowledge.
