Description

The Speech and Language Technology Society is hosting an event next week on Ethics and Regulation in AI that will likely be of interest to many here.

The event is scheduled for Thursday (November 30th) from 6pm to 8pm and will involve two speakers:

  1. Dr. Stephanie Hare (Researcher, broadcaster, and author) - speaking about her experience in AI ethics, as covered in her recent book: Technology Is Not Neutral: A Short Guide to Technology Ethics.
  2. Dr. Jaihong Chen (University of Sheffield Law Department) - speaking about the regulation and ethics of AI from a legal perspective.
