Clive Humby honoured with the Don Schultz Award

Visiting Professor Clive Humby has been selected for the Don Schultz Award for Innovation in Teaching

Clive Humby OBE, Visiting Professor in the Department of Computer Science and the Information School at the University of Sheffield, has been honoured with the 2024 Don Schultz Award for Innovation in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) by The Medill School of Journalism.

Humby is recognised for ground-breaking contributions to consumer data and business processes, including his co-authorship of 'Scoring Points,' a widely adopted text in academic institutions globally. He expressed his gratitude stating, 'I'm deeply honoured to receive this recognition. Applying IMC principles has been a hallmark of my career.'

The Don Schultz Award, which is named in honour of the late Don Schultz, a distinguished professor who played a pivotal role in establishing the field of Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC), acknowledges Humby's global impact on the field.
