Materials Science and Engineering at Sheffield ranks top 5 in the Guardian University Guide 2023
The Guardian University Guide has established itself as a key league table for UK universities and features league tables ranking universities on a number of criteria; including student satisfaction scores based on courses, teaching and feedback, as well as the proportion of graduates in employment or further study after graduation.
- Mechanical engineering (5th)
- General engineering - which includes our materials science and engineering and bioengineering courses (5th)
- Aerospace engineering (6th)
Engineering courses also ranked in the top 20 places to study for the following: Computer science and information systems (11th), civil engineering (11th), Electronic and electrical engineering (which includes our courses in our Department of Automatic Controls and Systems Engineering) (19th)
