I am currently the Study Manager for the ASTIClite trial, looking at autologous stem cell transplantation for refractory Crohn's Disease. The trial is currently in recruitment, with the first site opening in May 2018. I joined the Clinical Trials Research Unit as a Research Assistant in August 2014, and worked on a variety of different studies during that time.
Prior to joining CTRU, I worked in Clinical Audit and Effectiveness at the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. During this time, I completed my MSc in Health Services Research at the University of York, where I also gained experience working in York Trials Unit, as well as coordinating a trial for my dissertation. I completed my undergraduate degree in Pharmacology at the University of Leeds in 2010.
