Find out about fees and funding for CPD modules in the School of Medicine and Population Health. We accept sponsored as well as self-funding students.

Tuition fees

The fees for each 15-credit CPD module in the School of Medicine and Population Health are as follows:

Campus-based modules (home students)

2024/25: £927 or £962 – email population-health-cpd@sheffield.ac.uk to confirm the fee for your module

Campus-based modules (overseas students)

2024/25: £2,304

Online modules (all students)

2023/24: £1,043

Tuition fees for PGCert, PGDip or masters programmes are given on the relevant course webpage.


Self-funding students

If you intend to fund your own studies, you will receive instructions on how to pay your fees after you have been offered a place on one of our modules or programmes. You may be able to pay your fees in instalments.


If your fees are being paid by a sponsor, you will need to submit a sponsor letter on headed paper via the student fees enquiry form. There is more information about what you need to need to include on your sponsor letter on the following webpage.

International postgraduate taught scholarships

We offer a generous package of financial support for international postgraduate taught students, including scholarships worth £10,000 towards the original tuition fee.

Applications are open for existing offer holders for a postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2025.
