Service of Thanksgiving
The Service of Thanksgiving is held in memory of all those who have generously temporarily donated their bodies to the University of Sheffield for the benefit of medical education. It is held annually in November.

The service included readings, music, prayer and time for reflection. There were contributions from the Director of Medical Education, students, and the University’s Chamber Choir, Medics’ Choir and Brass Band, as well as from the Belief, No Belief and Religious Life Centre.

Due to our usual Service of Thanksgiving being postponed this year, a Memorial Event was arranged as a supplementary event until the time we were able to welcome visitors to campus to attend our annual Service of Thanksgiving.
The recording of this event is approximately 15 minutes in duration and includes readings, music, prayer and time for reflection. Included are contributions from the Director of Medical Education, students, the University’s Chamber Choir and Brass Band, as well as Christian, Humanist and Muslim contributions from the University Chaplaincy Centre.
