We have a number of competitive scholarships available to students coming to Sheffield on exchange:

Any student from a non-European partner university

Any exchange student accepting a place at the University of Sheffield is automatically eligible to apply for this competitive scholarship.

Scholarship winners will receive £1,500 if they study in Sheffield for a full academic year or £750 if they come for one semester.

These scholarships have been made possible through the generosity of our alumni. Any exchange or fee paying student is eligible to apply, apart from students at US universities who are eligible for different scholarships (see below).

Any student from a US university

Any exchange student from a US university accepting a place at the University of Sheffield is eligible to apply for this competitive scholarship.

Scholarship winners will receive £1,500 if they study in Sheffield for a full academic year or £750 if they come for one semester.

These awards have been made possible by the generosity of Sheffield's American alumni. There are around 2,000 Sheffield graduates and former Study Abroad students currently living in the United States. Their combined support, through donations to the 'University of Sheffield in America Alumni Fund', has enabled us to offer these special scholarships.
