  3. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Industrial Action Update

    • ​​​​​​​UEB was pleased to note that the recent local meetings with UCU had led to agreement to end local action short of a strike but it was important that all colleagues fully understood that this also included an end to the marking and assessment boycott. UEB also noted the status of the national and local disputes, respectively.​​​​​​​

  4. ​​​​​​​Round Table

    • ​​​​​​​Outgoing HoDs: An event would be held after the meeting of UEB on 12 July.
    • Council Dinner: A Council dinner would take place on the evening of 6 June.
    • Jonathan Nicholls’ Memorial Service: TS had circulated details of the memorial service for the Jonathan Nicholls, member of Council, following his recent tragic death. A number of University representatives would be attending to pay their respects.
    • Apprenticeship Awards: The newly elected Mayor of the South Yorkshire Combined Authority, Oliver Coppard, would be attending the AMRC-TC Apprentice Awards later in the month.
