Profile

I am an urban studies researcher currently exploring processes of reproduction and resistance of informal nightlife in Southern Europe thanks to a MSCA Grant. Particularly interested on processes of collective contestation, migration, re/productive labour and feminist approaches.

I hold a PhD on Social Psychology since 2019 (UAM, Spain) and have a long record of international and interdisciplinary post-doctoral positions/visits since then such as CURA/DMU (Leicester, 2019), Department of Anthropology at UPF (Barcelona, 2020), and CICS.NOVA (Lisbon, 2021). Mother of a 3-years-old child.

Research interests

Among others, I am particularly interested on:

- Nightlife, urban informality, securitisation and governance

- Migration and work - Sex work, domestic work, informal vending

- Feminist and decolonial approaches

- Visual-based and ethnographic methods

- Challenges coming from activist research
