Students taking courses at the English Language Teaching College (ELTC) can take advantage of the Universities City accommodation at Allen Court. You’ll be a short walk from the heart of Sheffield City Centre and studies are located nearby - within a close walking distance.
We put on a whole host of free activities including International food events and movie nights to give you the chance to meet new friends and relax after a hard day's study.

After completing your English language course, having made friends and got to know your surroundings - you can stay in University accommodation for your degree course. You can book this at the same time as your pre-sessional course saving you the hassle of having to move rooms.

Wondering what to expect?
You will be in a private en-suite bedroom with a small double bed, wardrobe, desk, chair and its own shower room including shower, washbasin and water closet. You will share a kitchen/living/dining room with the other students in your flat. The communal kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, dining table and chairs.
Living room areas are furnished with comfortable seating and a coffee table. Also available are a vacuum, cleaner, iron, ironing board, mop bucket, dustpan and brush. We do not provide cutlery, crockery or cooking utensils (such as pots, pans, plates or glasses), or bedding items.
