Group work complete - congratulations!
Module ACS330, ACSE's group project, has produced some truly interesting projects.
Third-year students in ACSE have been working on their group project this semester. The group project gives students a chance to work on a substantial project that allows them to experience the whole systems lifecycle from problem formulation and requirements capture to design and build - and beyond to verification and validation.
The modules culminates with a chance for ACSE students to showcase their designs and prototypes, and gives an opportunity to present their week to academics and representatives from the engineering industry.
Students gave produced excellent projects: from Industry 4.0 Future Factory to Smart Grid and Power Electronics.
This week students deliver the demonstrations and talks to their academic tutors, Dr Jonathan Aitken and Dr Payam Soulatiantork, and an audience of industry professionals who form part of the department Industrial Advisory Board. Attendees included representatives of IBM, Siemens, Meggitt. Riverside Automations and Inspec Solutions.
The day was a great success. Congratulations to all the students who showcased their work this week.
