There are eight medals (one in each of the seven Departments of the Faculty of Engineering and one for students taking programmes of study involving more than two departments in the Faculty), each accompanied by a premium, and are awarded by competition. They demonstrate the greatest distinction shown by candidates reading for these degrees.
