Christopher Goldthorpe obituary
A graduate of the School of Dentistry (BDS Dentistry 1966).
Alumnus Christopher Goldthorpe sadly died in September 2013 after an inspirational fight against cancer.
Chris was a former Crewe Hall resident where his recreations included walking and climbing in the Peak District. After graduation, he ran a highly regarded dental practice in Solihull. He was a churchwarden for many years and had an eclectic taste in music, particularly church and classical. Christopher was also a talented amateur photographer, winning numerous respected prizes for his work.
Chris retired to Swaledale in North Yorkshire in 2002 and leaves his widow, Phillipa, three adult children and two grandchildren.
