Arrange events and activities
In a world of change, our students can help you to unlock the future. With on-campus activities currently on hold we have developed a flexible package of opportunities that will allow you to connect with our students and graduates remotely and remain visible online.
Our central position within the University and close links with academic departments and faculties mean that we are ideally placed to help you target across disciplines and recommend events and activities that are suitable for you. Work with our dedicated staff to develop a tailored strategy to support your recruitment, comprising options from the following, which are all free to attend:
- Virtual Careers Fairs
- Placements and Internships - Thursday 14th October 2021
- Graduate Jobs - Thursday 21st October 2021
Join us as we bring together students from across the university interested in finding out more about, and applying for opportunities. Our free, one-day events will be hosted on a new virtual platform, TARGET Connect, that enables organisations to use their preferred video conferencing software for both group webinars and 1 to 1 chats.
• Group webinars - Deliver webinars at specific times throughout the day or, offer students the chance to join an informal group chat.
• 1 to 1 chats - Manage your own schedule and your team members too with an easy to use tool for adding individual chat appointments throughout the day. Event attendees will be able to view your profile and book an individual chat slot with the most appropriate team member.
• Vacancies - Display your organisation’s vacancies on your profile page with the option for students to save the vacancy to their own dashboard, or apply.
• Engagement - Access your viewing and engagement stats from within your profile throughout the day.

We can support you with a platform for delivery that allows you to connect in real-time, recording the session so that it is available to view on-demand afterwards.
Whether you wish to promote your organisation, showcase different occupations or provide an input on the impact that Covid-19 has had on your industry; a webinar allows you to reach a large audience for a relatively small investment in time.
Thank you for promoting our webinar to your students... The level of interest, enthusiasm and engagement during the event was amazing.
