Members of the Christian Chaplaincy team were on the Students' Union Piazza on Ash Wednesday offering people the chance to be signed with an ash cross.
Ashing is the Ash Wednesday tradition of placing ash on people’s foreheads as a sign of the cross, with the words of encouragement to ‘repent of your sins and be faithful to Christ’.
