Your supervisor(s) is a subject expert who will guide you through your PhD studies. It can be advantageous to contact potential supervisors before you apply, to discuss your research interests and your suitability for PhD study.

Dentistry PhD supervision

There are three ways in which you can explore potential supervisors within the School of Clinical Dentistry:

  2. Explore our research groups and themes
    Research across the School of Clinical Dentistry is carried out via three research groups. By exploring our research web pages you may find the names of experts in your field of interest.
