Major breakthroughs for the fabrication of ultra-small μLEDs with a record efficiency and a record spectral linewidth

There is an increasing demand for developing AR and VR microdisplays with high resolution, high efficiency and zero-cross talk, where ultrasmall, ultrahigh-efficient microLEDs are the key components and are extremely challenging to achieve.

Our latest paper published by ACS Nano demonstrates that Sheffield has achieved a number of major breakthroughs for the fabrication of ultra-small μLEDs with a record efficiency and a record spectral linewidth.

Our technologies have taken a completely different approach from the conventional method. We welcome any industrial partners to work with us for commercialising these technologies.
