I completed my PhD in the Division of Nursing and Midwifery in 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Tony Ryan and Dr. Sharron Hinchliff. My thesis was a constructive grounded theory of elder mistreatment among older people from Pakistani communities living in the UK. Since 2019, I have worked as a Research Associate in the Division of Nursing and Midwifery.

My research spans the areas of ageing, ethnicity, elder mistreatment, social isolation and loneliness, CPD, palliative care.
