Undergraduate courses
Our undergraduate degree programmes are designed to give you a solid foundation in linguistic theory, and allows you to link this theory to the huge array of real-life contexts in which language is used.
You can either study linguistics alongside English language in the School of English, or combine your linguistics study with another subject such as Japanese Studies, Philosophy or Modern Languages and Cultures.
