A University of Sheffield research team (Peizhen Bai, Filip Miljković, Bino John & Haiping Lu) have had their recent work on the bilinear attention model for predicting drug-target interactions recognised in a reusability report published by Nature Machine Intelligence.

This report is part of a selective series that has included only twelve articles since its inception in 2020, highlighting the featured research's robustness, extendability, and reusability.

Their model has shown adaptability to new domains, such as predicting cell line-drug responses and mutation–drug associations, which underscores its potential in advancing healthcare solutions.
