Learn about Academic Medicine and Dentistry at Sheffield at our online event. All very welcome, particularly those thinking of applying for AF or ACF posts at Sheffield.
This online event allows you to hear from current trainees in all training posts offered at Sheffield. This includes Academic Foundation, Academic Clinical Fellowship (NIHR), Clinical Research Training Fellowship (PhD) and Clinical Lectureship (NIHR).
It then breaks into groups for the integrated training stages (AF, ACF and CL); so you can find more from our Academic Training Programme Directors. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you need further details.
Academic clinical lectureships
Clinical lectureships are 50% academic research and 50% clinical work. These are recruited to throughout the year and are advertised on the University's jobs pages.
Academic clinical fellowships
An academic clinical fellowship combines medical training with academic training.
