Academic verification
How to request academic verification documents for current and former students as a third party, such as a prospective employer or higher education Institution.
Overview
If you are a third party (such as a prospective employer, agency, embassy or another university) and you need to verify a former student's attendance or awards at the University of Sheffield, you can request this from our partner Prospects HEDD.
A HEDD verification confirms:
- The student’s name
- Dates of attendance
- Qualification type
- Course name
- Year of award
- Classification obtained
