Thank you for participating in the survey about experiences of EMDR online. This page provides a reminder of why we are doing the research.

The research is investigating the acceptability of online EMDR and its advantages and disadvantages for therapists and clients.

Nobody will be able to identify you from any of the information you provided.  The research team at the University of Sheffield will not see your email address or any of your personal details and your therapist will not see your answers or be able to identify you in the written report.

Now that you have completed and submitted the survey we regret that you will not be able to withdraw your responses because the survey is anonymous so we would not know which answers you provided.

EMDR Association UK, East Anglia Regional Group is funding this research. The University of Sheffield is the data controller. This means that the University is responsible for looking after your information and using it properly.

If you would like to raise a complaint about the research or would like further information at any point, we have provided the contact details of three people who will be happy to help below. In the unlikely event that your participation in the research raises any uncomfortable issues please contact your GP in the first instance.

When the research is completed we will provide a link to the published report here.

We thank you for your interest in this project.
