All undergraduate applications, whether from the UK or overseas, must be made through UCAS.
The deadline for applications is normally 15 January of the year of entry - please see the UCAS website for details. Offers will be made on the basis of careful review of UCAS forms by our Admissions Tutor. As a general rule we do not interview standard entry candidates.
The University runs pre-application open days so that you can visit Sheffield and the University and gather the information you need before you apply.
Once you have applied and have been made an offer, you will be invited to attend a School of East Asian Studies post-application open day. These days usually take place between February - April and offer more detailed information on your selected degree courses and allow you to speak to current students and staff in each programme.
If you have further queries about our programmes and the application process then please get in touch.
