Dr James Law (Principal Investigator) is the Director of Innovation and Knowledge Exchange at Sheffield Robotics and holds a joint appointment between the Department of Computer Science and the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (part of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult) at the University of Sheffield. He is a roboticist with strengths in interdisciplinary research, and an investigator on awards of over £6M in areas spanning computer science, control engineering, psychology, and design. His work emphasises building trust and confidence in technology and translating research into industrial processes, particularly for human-robot collaboration.
