My research is largely focused on addressing health inequalities and in getting research evidence into practice, through both evidence synthesis and knowledge translation. I previously worked in the areas of inequalities in access to services, diabetes screening and type 2 diabetes prevention.
My involvement in research that develops and evaluates physical activity interventions has led to my current role with the National Centre for Sport & Exercise Medicine in Sheffield, promoting collaborative research across the university, NHS, City Council and a range of community partners.
