SPERI is an excellent place for scholars to launch and develop their academic careers; it provides a vibrant and collegial intellectual environment, opportunities for mentorship and collaboration, and unique support for policy and public engagement. Prospective doctoral student

Established scholars

SPERI can host established scholars during sabbatical and can sponsor grant applications for visiting academics. Leverhulme Visiting Professorships

We are keen to support applications for Leverhulme Visiting Professorships. Visits may last for between 3 and 12 months, and tenures of 6 months or more can be spread over 2 or more visits.
