Placements take place in Level 2 Summer and Level 3 Easter time. This is required for the RTPI accreditation of your course.

Although placements are usually 2 weeks long in each year, with a total of 4 weeks at the end of the year we encourage students to look for as much as experience as possible.

Urban and Regional Planning MSc

Optional placements for MSc Urban and Regional Planning students take place in Christmas vacation period, these usually last 1 week and can take place either in the public or private sector.
