Working with urban young people with migration experiences in understanding how the activisms and collectives they assemble around them disrupt everyday bordering practices and policy.

Charley is a PhD student at the University of Sheffield. Through engagement with youth-led movements their project will challenge simplistic categorisations and binary thinking. It will work with urban young people with migration experiences in understanding how the activisms and collectives they assemble around them disrupt everyday bordering practices and policy.

Charley has an MsC in Human Geography with a specialism in Conflict Studies from Radboud University alongside a 10 year teaching career; working with both adults and young people. They also have a PGCE in Art and Design.
